How to claim a seat on Aftergame

Whether you’re attending a convention, going to a meetup, or meeting friends for a specific game, claiming a seat works the same way.

Navigate to the game you’d like to play. If it’s a game happening at a larger event, you can go to the event to find it (this is usually faster) but it will also show up in the Games view of the Events tab.

1. Tap Claim seat. That will open the menu shown right.
2. Set your experience level.
   1. Can teach - indicates you’re very familiar and have played the game several times. Don’t choose this option if you aren’t comfortable teaching board games.
   2. Have played - indicates you’ll be able to jump into the game without anyone teaching it.
   3. Don’t remember - indicates you’ve played it but have forgotten how it works. You’ll likely remember with some reminders.
   4. Haven’t played - indicates that a full teach of the rules will be required before you start playing.
3. If you’d like to bring someone along and they don’t have an Aftergame account, you can do so by adding guests. The number you enter here should not include yourself.
