Welcome to Posts

Your home page shows your games, groups, and upcoming events, as well as a feed of everything relevant happening with your friends and groups.

Posts can include (or consist of) polls, photos, and game lists (or just words, I guess).

Some things that will show up in your feed:

• Play logs that you’re a part of
• Posts from your friends
• New events from your groups
• Posts from your groups
• Games planned by your friends
• Games planned in your groups or events

You can like and/or comment on any kind of post.

Polls

Polls are pretty straightforward but here are some highlights:

• If you link games to poll options, people can tap on the game box to open the game info without navigating away from the poll, so even if they don’t know the games, they can easily check them out before voting.
• You can set a time frame after which the poll closes and sends you the results.
• When people first see your poll, previous answers are hidden to enable players to vote only on their own preferences. They can tap Show results before they vote if they want to know how other people voted. Once they’ve cast their vote, they’ll see everyone’s responses.

Photos

Game Lists

In addition to being able to attach a photo directly to a play log, you can post a photo out on its own to groups, events, or friends.

You can post a Game list to show people what’s on offer for your next game night, show off your new acquisitions, or let people know what you want to play.

Your feed

As you join groups and make Aftergame friends, you’ll start to see more and more photos, play logs, polls, events, planned games, and posts from your connections.

There’s no algorithm here — your home page feed is a pure, chronological feed of your own activity and posts from people and groups that you care about.
