Sending friend requests on Aftergame

Maybe you’ve just played a game with a new friend at a game night or convention or maybe your old friend finally made an account. You can take advantage of the social aspects of Aftergame by becoming friends in the app.

To send a friend request:

  1. Locate the player and tap on them. This can be done in a few ways.
    1. Go to your Profile tab and tap Find friends under your photo. You can search from there but also if you have recently interacted, they will be in the Quick add list below Connect players.

    2. Type their name or username in the search bar at the top of most tabs.

    3. Tap on the player from a planned game.

    4. Tap on the player in a play you logged from a planned game where they were already present.

  2. Tap Add friend.

If you send a friend request you didn’t mean to send, you can cancel the request by tapping the Cancel button that will appear where the Add button had been.

Accepting friend requests on Aftergame

When someone requests your friendship, you’ll get a notification about it. The easiest way to accept a friend request is to tap the notification and then tap Accept.

If you’ve just been to a large event and have many requests, answer them all quickly in the Find friends screen in your Profile by tapping Accept beside each request.

If you don’t want to accept the request, tap the x instead.
