Find and manage your game collection in the Collection tab or in the ☰ menu in the upper left corner of any main page.

Your default collections

When you make your Aftergame account, it comes pre-loaded with four game lists in your collection.

When you first tap into the Collection tab, the default list will be Owned. Every time after that, you’ll see whatever list you last interacted with. To change the list you see, tap the list at the top and choose a new one.

There are lots of ways to filter the games of whichever list you’re viewing.

The four pre-built lists you have are Owned, Wishlist, Played, and Want to Play.

• Three of the lists are manual: You can assign games to your Owned, Wishlist, and Want to play lists.

• One of the lists is automatic:

  If a game is logged by you or for you with you as a player, that game will be automatically added to your Played list.

• One of the lists is magical:

  Your Want to Play list will alert you if someone in your area plans a game that you’ve added to it. For example, if I’ve added Darwin’s Journey to my Want to Play collection and another user plans a game of Darwin’s Journey for next week at a local cafe, I’ll get a notification so that I can claim a seat at the table.

You can share any of your lists using the :share-icon: button beside the list title.

Create your collection

There are many access points for your lists and collection found throughout Aftergame.

This page covers the simplest way to manage your collection but there are others.

You can quickly add games to your collection anywhere you see games by tapping the + or ☑️ on any game thumbnail.

Create a new list

From the Collection tab, open your list of lists and tap + New list.

Type in a name then Create List.

Your new list will now show up anywhere you see your custom lists.

You can also import your collection from BGG or a spreadsheet.

Add a game to a list

Tap the + button at the bottom then Add game.
