When you make your Aftergame account, it comes pre-loaded with four game lists in your collection. You can find the lists by tapping on the Games (at the bottom) > Game List (at the top, in the red square).
When you first tap into the Games tab, it will show you all the games you’ve interacted with alphabetically, either by playing them or adding them to one of your lists. If you select a list from the Lists folder, the page will be filtered according to that list. There are more ways to filter your games in the red circle.
The four pre-built lists you have are Owned, Wishlist, Played, and Want to Play.
Three of the lists are manual: You can assign games to your Owned, Wishlist, and Want to play lists.
One of the lists is automatic:
If a game is logged by you or for you with you as a player, that game will be automatically added to your Played list.
One of the lists is magical:
Your Want to Play list will alert you if someone in your area plans a game that you’ve added to it. For example, if I’ve added Darwin’s Journey to my Want to Play collection and another user plans a game of Darwin’s Journey for next week at a local cafe, I’ll get a notification so that I can claim a seat at the table.

You can also find your lists on your profile page. Viewing them from there will also allow you to share them. :share-icon:

There are many access points for your lists and collection found throughout Aftergame.
This page covers the simplest way to manage your collection but there are others.

You can also manage your collection from any game by tapping the + or ☑️ on any game thumbnail.

Go to the Games tab at the bottom > Game list menu at the top > Edit lists > + New list
Type in a name then Create List.
Your new list will now show up anywhere you see your custom lists, and your main games page can be filtered by this list, too.

You can also import your collection from BGG or a spreadsheet.

Go to your Games tab then Add game near the bottom.
Type in and choose the game you’re looking for. Choose the list(s) you’d like to add the game to then Save.
You can also search for games in any search bar on Aftergame and update your collection with options from the search results, game window, or the ☑️ or + in the top left corner of a game thumbnail.
