Invite players to join your group, event, or game

Once you’ve created or joined a group, event, or game, you can invite other players. (The invite button will only appear if you are already a part of the group, going to the event, or have claimed a seat in the game.)

Depending on whether it’s a group, event, or game, and whether or not you’re an admin, the invite button may appear in a few different places. It will usually be one of your main buttons but if it’s not, check Manage, or :invite-bigger: or :hamburger-menu:.

Inviting players in Aftergame

Use the Invite button to invite other Aftergame users to join your group or event, or claim a seat at the table.

You can search for specific people if you’re not already friends with them, see a list of just your friends, or browse all members of a group to make inviting people quick and easy.

If it’s a game, you’ll have the option to just invite them so they know it’s happening or to save a seat for them.

Both options send players to a webpage showing your group, game, or event.

From there, they can explore what’s happening before they download Aftergame and make an account (If they haven’t already) to take advantage of your invitation.

Generate a QR code

When viewing a game, event, or group, you’ll see a square at the top beside the share button.

Tapping the square will generate the QR code. Tap the Download or share button to open up the same options menu you get when sharing a link and share how you like.
